Yoshi Words of Wisdom

In writing this passage, I have been inspired by Deepak Chopra’s book ‘Seven Spiritual Laws of Success’.

Please read carefully as although these Words today may appear lengthy, I have thought about them for quite a while and they are spoken straight from my heart to yours:

The Law of Nature states that we should all give more of anything we want and we shall receive it back in the same or greater quantity than before, in the same form or another. I’d like to justify and exemplify this fact….

Every human being and every living being on this planet is made up of cells. It’s a proven fact that all living cells reproduce themselves and/or ‘help’ others rebuild or grow (see ‘Cell Mitosis’ i.e. http://anthro.palomar.edu/biobasis/bio_2.htm, and http://www.sirinet.net/~jgjohnso/reprod.html).

Heart cells for example ‘help’ immune cells, which in turn aid stomach and lung cells, and the cycle goes on. Every cell we possess has only one, (yes, one!), basic function, which is to help other cells, to give to other cells, to bring vitality to other cells.

Consequently, these cells that radiate productive ‘positive’ energy to others, which themselves grow by receiving energy back. Now, I am clearly not here to present you with a science lesson, so let’s cut to the chase!

If we observe how our internal bodies are functioning, and how we are created on in the inside, we can closely relate to the Law of Nature. All living beings receive energy in order to grow – photosynthesis for example.

The amount of growth and energy received is in direct proportion to the amount taken in; the amount given by Nature. Flowers only blossom and ‘succeed’ in their beauty after having absorbed enough energy, in the form of sunlight, water, etc. In return these organisms respire and give back to Nature. As you can see this is an ongoing process of giving and receiving.

Now, if human beings are a part of nature, hence a part of God’s infinite creation, shouldn’t we be part of that same Law? Shouldn’t we too be affected and surrounded by all this giving and receiving energy? The answer is… YES!

Of course we should! Human beings are just as much catered for, if not more so, by Nature as plants, flowers, trees and animals. Since human beings are the vast majority of living species on Mother Earth, why should we be neglected?

If we abide by this Law, and basically ‘give what we want’, Nature shall provide us with the means of obtaining the tangible or intangible thing that we desire, if not then the actual thing itself!

If you want people to smile, why not smile yourself for this reason and see the effect it has on others, as well as ultimately your own mood. If you are in desperate need for compliments or gratitude, give these qualities to your fellow brothers and sisters and wait and see what you receive. If you want more money, be generous with yours.

For all giving is, is a form of energy. We are now alive because of this. If we all stop giving to Nature, eventually the human race would deteriorate and become extinct. The people who ‘give what they want’ are the ones who are self-satisfied with their lives and whom achieve personal success, whatever that may mean to them. For some this means peace and happiness, for others financial freedom, loving lasting relationships, a mixture of these, and many more.

To conclude, I will end with these fantastic quotes on today’s topic of giving: -

  • ‘Be the change you wish to see in the world’
    Mahatma Ghandi
  • ‘No one has ever become poor by giving’
    Anne Frank
  • ‘Think of giving not as a duty but as a privilege’
    John D. Rockefeller Jr.
  • ‘We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give’
    Winston Churchhill
